I’m Dave Hunwick, founder of DHCS and a lifelong believer that technology should make our lives better, not more complicated.
DHCS stands for Dave Hunwick Consulting Services a flexible, people-first venture that brings together everything I’ve learned over 25+ years in IT, photography, design, and human connection. I started DHCS to offer something rare: technical / creative expertise grounded in creativity, empathy, expressed in clear and understandable human language.
I’m based in Evanston, Illinois a husband, father of three, longtime Apple tech enthusiast, photographer, and part time DJ. I’ve worked in educational IT for over two decades, and I come from a family of artists, musicians, and storytellers.
That creative foundation runs through everything I do from the photos I take to the way I explain tech to someone who’s never touched a Mac. I genuinely believe in the power of technology to connect people across the globe and give everyone an equal seat at the table in our shared digital village.
